This course provides a comprehensive overview of the principles of designed experimentation in a manufacturing setting. Robust product design is also emphasized in the course. Candidates participate in hands-on activities and work on PB-based exercises using real-world process data. The course has an easy to understand text, helping ensure a comfortable pace and fun learning experience, which benefits both the student and respective employer. The UT School of Natural Resources offers this program to maintain a focus of providing leading practical education for the bio-based products industry. Cost: — $3,850 (includes lodging, food, local transport, books, materials & fees for both sessions)

Payment: Pay Online by Credit Card  (Invoicing is also payment option.)

CEU Credits: The University of Tennessee, Division of Outreach & Continuing Education will award 4.0 CEU credits to each participant.
The course can also be taken for 3 undergraduate and 3 graduate credit hours at UT for an additional tuition fee. This is a software-based course using JMP 15 and Minitab 19. Each candidate will be provided a PC or laptop, but are encouraged to bring their own laptop to the training session. 

NOTE: This course requires no prior knowledge of design experimentation, but some knowledge of elementary statistics is helpful.
