This is the 9th edition of the ‘International PTF BPI Conference Series.’ PTF BPI 2026 and is hosted by the University of Tennessee, Data Science Institute. The ‘Processing Technologies for the Forest and Bio-Products Industries’ (PTF BPI) conference series has a rich history dating back to 2010 where the inaugural conference was held at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences in Kuchl, Austria. Since that time, the conference has rotated between Kuchl, Austria and St. Simons Island, GA (2018 PTF BPI was held at the Technical University of Munich). The conference is typically attended by around participants with a 50/50 split between academia and industry.
